lake of tears--The Path Of The Gods (Upon The Highest Mountain, Part 2)
这首最近听泪湖04年专辑headstones最惊艳的发现。（PS：泪湖是本人最喜欢的doom,metal团，木有之一。）
开场的长笛（还是箫？）独奏便让我震惊了。婉转凄凉悠扬绵长，很惊艳。
然后是一段主唱的独白。恰如其分。
旋律上升，独白继续，相得益彰，鼓点凸显。
之后渐入佳境，主唱的声音一如既往的沧桑悲凉。之间的一段键盘大有大珠小珠落玉盘的感觉。鼓点渐轻，一段合成器合成背景音乐玄幻而又迷离。主唱声应运而生。鼓声四起，成为主角。之后主唱歌声和鼓声一气呵成。再之后，主唱声音逐渐远离，一段两分钟的悠扬凄美的背景音乐直到结尾。
豆瓣上一好友的整首歌的评价如下，大抵也是一些主流和非主流之间的话：这首大作乃专辑中音乐元素最为丰富的作品，无论是悠远哀伤的长笛，忧郁的键盘，凄美悲怆的合成器背景音效都为作品铺展开阵阵忧伤情绪。音乐极其沉重，无处不肆意流淌着绝望哀伤的音乐意境，没有人能不为之动容，黯然神伤！
另外，个人很喜欢这首歌的歌词。特别是开始的那段独白。当那句I still dream of the mountains伴着悠长的笛声响起的时候，那一刻如恍如隔世般的感觉。
